Tallavera is currently seeking a Travel Nurse Recruiter to join the fastest-growing, woman-owned, award-winning Staffing Firm in Rochester, NY. To be considered for the Travel Nurse Recruiter position, candidates must have 3+ years of prior experience in Travel Nurse Recruiting, with a successful track record of identifying and engaging high-quality candidates. The Travel Nurse Recruiter will be responsible for utilizing various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks to identify and attract top-quality candidates to build a robust pipeline for open positions.

Responsibilities of our Travel Nurse Recruiters:

Identifying and evaluating potential travel nurse candidates nationwide
Developing a robust candidate pool through various methods such as cold calling, lead generation, utilizing our in-house database, referrals, and social media platforms
Facilitating the alignment of candidates with suitable positions at healthcare facilities across the nation
Engaging in negotiations regarding compensation packages encompassing hourly rates, incentives, and optional travel and lodging arrangements subsidized by the company
Maintaining close communication with your assigned nurses, addressing any on-the-job challenges, providing guidance for future opportunities, and advocating for them effectively, escalating matters as necessary.
Collaborating with internal credentialing and compliance teams to ensure adherence to client standards
Liaising with Payroll and Employee Support teams to guarantee accurate and timely compensation for travel nurses on assignment
Meeting or surpassing designated daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly activity metrics and performance objectives

Requirements:

Recruit, onboard, and ensure the retention of traveling healthcare professionals.
Assess candidate qualifications against job requirements.
Deliver exemplary customer service to our traveling staff while upholding ethical standards and integrity.
Employ effective communication skills in interactions with client managers.
Demonstrate proficient time management and organizational abilities to effectively manage recruitment activities.
Meet or exceed departmental call quotas.
Acquire expertise in database usage and other recruitment tools.
Formulate recruitment strategies and establish measurable goals for achievement.
